Can the history of China basically be summed up as "the bad guys won"?
>>
>>1862925
Also, the Chinese civil war.
>>
>>1862925
Yes, just look at chinese cities now, They look like a cartoon villain hideout
>>

T. Never been to a Chinese city

All the coastal cities look like a mesh of Californian business districts and Vietnam just with less advertising

You could say that about literally any fucking country.

Also, the long term effects of literally everything you said has contributed overwhelmingly positive for humanity and in that China as a whole.

Without the warring states, there would be no Han dynasty, and thus no multilevel bureaucracy until the Byzantine Empire

Without the Three Kingdoms, there would be no Three Gorges Dam because there would be no delineation of three general commercial areas

Without Mongols, there wouldn't have been an elongated Silk Road nor a thorough subversion of Islam, which would've perpetuated the mess of the Abbasid Caliphate and would not have kickstarted European colonialism through the importation of compasses and printing press and would thus probably see the industrial revolution delayed if not abolished entirely within England, which in turn would mean that modern China wouldn't have so much modern medicine and agricultural methods to sustain a large and relatively well-off population

With the Qing, you could call the Chinese phenomena of imperial bureaucracy as 'cucked' but its' functional, literally half the Chinese dynasties were ruled by minorities, mostly aggressive, Nomad type ones who would assume Han customs towards the point they're for all intents and purposes reskinned Han officials, the same with the Qing except the ugly ass braids. Without them and without the Opium wars there would've been no breathing space for modernisation or reform, unlike Japan, a country the size of China and with the rooted legalist and Confucianist forces of China could not have modernised peacefully

>literally half the Chinese dynasties were ruled by minorities
Uh, let's see, ok?
>Qin
Founded by King Yinzheng, edgelord king of Qin.
>Han
Founded by Liu Bang. Hobo-turned-bandit-turned-general who fought his best friend for supremacy over China
>Jin
Sima Zhao, Son of a Cao Wei Prime Minister.
>Nanbeichao
Now we see foreign dynasties in the form of Turkics, but as these motherfuckers never ruled all of China they don't count. It was a period of Chaos where countless Native & Nomad dynasties fought both each other and themselves.
>Sui
A barbarian-born official. Didn't lead some tribe or some shit, just usurped power over one of the Nanbeichao dynasties.
>T'ang
Li family of generals and a qt daughter.
>5 Dynasties 10 Kingdoms period
Period of infighting like Nanbeichao. No Imperial dynasty
>Song Dynasty
Some ex-T'ang General.
>Song-Jin contention
Jin is the barbarian party. Aguda BTFO the Khitan Liao and invades China.
>Yuan
Kubilai Khan, Barbarian Khan.
>Ming
Zhu Yuangzhang. Buddhist ISIS.
>Qing
Not quite Barbarian. The Jurchen minority in Ming China rebel against the Ming, unified by Nurhaci, and invades China when the Ming Dynasty fell in turn.

In all I count 3 Barbarian dynasties and one founded by a scheming Barbarian born cunt.
>>
>killing off the ming was bad
>>
>>1862927
which one?
>>
>>1863234
The one that is refered to simply as that.
