Fuck Benny Hinn and all the healers like him. Imagine the lame and the sick and how they must feel everytime they pack those stadiums, full of awe and hope when they walk in and utterly crushed when they walk out. desu, this is the kind of gangrene eating away the legitimacy of christianity.

I remember going to a church called cornerstone in texas and only being there to escort a woman who took care of me at the time, and these mother fuckers sang fucking songs the entire time.

In the pleasant few minutes where there wasn't christian rock ringing out, the pastor talked about the reason indonesia gets earthquakes is because they're primarily muslim.

I was so taken aback, not by it being insulting or something, but it was just so damn stupid. Why didn't he talk about crime or philosophical inconsistencies if he was going to insult islam?

I distinctly remember when the baskets were going around for tithes, the woman I was with tried to hide it from me with her hands casually, but she dropped a 500 dollar check into the basket, and my insides were screaming.

The money she earned with her own labor was willingly being given to something so fucking heretical and disgusting. I felt, and still feel, like trash in that I couldn't even begin to show her what beauty Christendom has that isn't camp sing-a-longs and spectacle speaking.
