As for the rest of Hellas, no they do not descend from Macedonians, the Athenian elite, other city states whose freeman and citizens were Dorians that originally came from Central Europe, but that's a topic for another discussion.

We are talking about Spartans, and how they are not related to modern Greeks. I bet you can't prove otherwise.

Who cares about Sparta specifically? The modern people are the same they have been for millennia, or at least as close as one can be to their ancestors after 2000 years of history. Their populations from ancient Greece were never wholly displaced, replaced or genocided throughout history. The reason there is variation between the Greek population now is because there was variation back then plus the few modern-era immigration/settlement people.

Greeks are living proof that genetics mean very little when it comes to how successful a country/region is at any point in time.

The Spartans were clearly Nordic.
