I read a book called "The Ravens" about CIA operations using Bronco observation planes in that area. Supposedly if you got shot down, your chances of survival were immensely low.

Oh as for your question, probably not much. It'd take more nukes than the US had to even kill half of China.
Also, it'd be asking for the Soviets to intervene fully in Korea. Maybe spark a ground war in Europe.
