As a Canadian with little knowledge of my heritage, I envy people who live in countries with long and expansive histories

I guess I like my Jewish ancestry.
And some my family is from Portuguese Africa. That's pretty cool.
And I think I had some relatives in the IRA. Dunno if that's something to be proud of.

I don't care about my heritage, it has no relevance now. People who tend to care, mostly Americans, are empty people looking to fill their lives with ancestral stereotypes because it's easier than trying to make something of themselves.
