Very useful however not useful enough to override modern history which is basically political testaments. There will be gaps between both. Whatever story dna tells will most always be something of a myth. Ancient man was ignorant, racist and stubborn, however migration occured in intervals for periods of time.

We really need that to establish with certainty the origin of native americans. You know that a small minority believes that 'white people' originated in the americas and they placed native americans here in order to conquer europe. the worlds oldest displacement (unofficial).

Tbh it can be an usefull TOOL to better understand some points of history of demographics if used corectly alongside anthropology, Archeology and history. The problems appears when biologists or meme historians try to explain human history from their unique DNA perspective, neglecting all other sources of knowledges.
