I think it might be fun to be a rich/noble Englishman during the height of the British Empire, like during the 1850s to the 1890s. You basically ruled the world, and you could either chill in England, go to Scotland, laugh at the paddies in Ireland, or if you really needed a change of scenery go anywhere in the empire. Luxuries and goods flowed readily to your nation, and almost everyone on Earth was your bitch.

Pretty much any era before the the 15th century.
Im not a good person. I have no problem hurting people, and i desire a simple life where thats all i could do to make a name for myself.
I always excelled in academics, i understand why things are the way they are, and i know that the system we created allows for peace, prosperity, and progress.
But another part of me just wants to roll into a small hamlet with my boys, demand tribute, snag the starving farmers crops, money and women, then ride off looking for more plunder. A part of me wants to contribute to the brutal conquest of corrupt empires, kill my fellow man, burn down churches while claiming to be a christian, and live without regard for my actions. Instead of grabbing a briefcase and knowing the next year will be the exact same as today, a part of me wants to grab sword and lance, and know there is a good possibility i wont be coming home. A part of me wants a new job, a new place, a new enemy every month. A part of me wants to get into the dirt so i can feel clean.
I guess i dont care as much about peace and safety as i though i did. I just want simplicity and freedom.
And if a bigger, faster, stronger, better armed man were to kill me and fuck my wife, good on him. But i wouldent make it easy.
