It's literally the page right before. Don't be a cunt.

>spike
>axe blade
xD
>>1766547
They're interchangeable.
>Das erst anbinden mit der axst.
>axst
>>1766561
Yes stabbing someone with a spike is totally the same as chopping someone up with an axe.
Axes were just dog shit and useless deal with it.
>>1766540
what book?
>>1766515
that's not even a poleaxe
>>1766584
They're different. Different heads are used for different purposes against different opponents.

It's the Talhoffer Fechtbuch (MS Thott.290.2º).

I realize that I might have confused you. By interchangeable I mean literally interchangeable as well. The spike can be hammered out into a flat axe-blade shape on the same weapon. Still called a poleaxe. Poleaxe users can change them to suit their preference and what they expect they'll be fighting.

None of these even have fucking axe heads. Those are Lucernes, and anyways, posting pics from one fechtbuch doesn't allow you to make any generalizations. Two masters might give contradictory advice depending on region and personal preference, and they'll sometimes have weird as fuck maneuvers we're pretty sure weren't common. There's depictions in some manuals of people throwing longswords like spears or unscrewing and throwing the pommel, for fuck's sake.

Plenty of masters called it a poleaxe. That's the general term for the category of weapons.
Talhoffer, Liberi, Paulus Kal, and the Le Jeu de la Hache all referred to them generally as "poleaxe".

You're right, and I didn't say they weren't poleaxes either. I said they don't have axe heads.
