What are some open and unsolved problems in geography? The social science part, not the physical part.
Someone said "How can Australia be full"
Y'all don't care?

>Someone said "How can Australia be full"
Australia could support a much higher population if they really wanted to

I know I didn't get that. Is Geography the only social science that has answered all of the questions?! Even Physics hasn't done that!
>>1738181
Is physics a social science?
>>1738202
No, I just used it as a reference.
Don't forget, we still haven't mapped Atlantis.
I'm more interested to hear about the physical part desu
>>1738172
Wouldnt that involve cutting down more forest and building commie blocks?

Yes, and that's why that argument offends me the most.
Take the US for example, where I live. Yes, we could support a load more people, but why should we? This nation has always had it as part of our culture and identity that there is vast wilderness to make use of: game to hunt, timber to harvest, nature to experience. Should that all be thrown away so that overpopulated nations can send their surplus over here to live? How is that just?

That's physical science, geology, etc.

Geography isn't all just wishy washy Venn diagram and drum circle human geography bullshit, geomorphology is a thing.

True but I'm asking about human and cultural geography.
Help me.
