I've been losing a lot of sleep over this
When the germanic pagans burned Rome to the ground, sending Europe to the "dark ages", how was it that "arabians" preserved the knowledge beginning the Muslim golden age? I thought the middle east was still split by the Sassanids and ERE/Byzantines for a little longer? How are any of them arabian? Can some one please clear this up?

>When the germanic pagans burned Rome to the ground...
THAT NEVER OCCURRED; THE REST OF YOUR POST IS CONSEQUENTIALLY INVALID.

Excuse me?

OP said some complete bullshit which makes it assumable the rest of his text is bullshit.

While I will concede on the notion of Rome being burned/sacked it was most definitely conquered.
Also you are missing out on some key reading comprehension as the arguements in the OP are the common notions of the events, and not the personal beliefs on the account and accuracy of the events themself. The OP wanted to pose a question on the validity of the claims, instead of the assumption they were already valid. I do not go on /his/ often so I assumed people here were smart
Just read the wiki first about the late antiquities and the early middle age. The entire post is terribly misinformed.

YOUR POST IS INVALID NOT BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE PRESUPPOSING THESE NOTIONS AS VALID, BUT BECAUSE YOUR QUESTIONS REGARDING ERRONEOUS/FABRICATED NOTIONS ARE SUPERFLUOUS AND FUTILE, AS ARE ANY SPECULATIONS DERIVED FROM THEM.
