Who is the biggest Xanatos Gambiter in history?

>A Xanatos Gambit is a plan for which all foreseeable outcomes benefit the creator — including ones that superficially appear to be failure. The creator predicts potential attempts to thwart the plan, and arranges the situation such that the creator will ultimately benefit even if their adversary "succeeds" in "stopping" them. When faced with a Xanatos Gambit the options are either to accept that the creator will get the upper hand and choose the outcome that is least beneficial to them, or to defeat them by finding a course that they didn't predict.

>At its most basic, the Xanatos Gambit assumes two possible outcomes for the one manipulated — success or failure. The plan is designed in such a way that either outcome will ultimately further the plotter's goals. A more complex view is offered by the study of probability in which such a gambit is known as a Dutch Book and involves securing bets such that regardless of the outcome the bookie will always pay out less than was bet.

>Since the Xanatos Gambit can involve an obvious goal's apparent failure, this is a convenient device in an ongoing series to let the villain occasionally win (preventing Villain Decay) while still giving the heroes a climactic pseudo-victory.

He who is most anarchistically inclined stands to gain the most. Totalitarian regimes don't ever last. America is heading to a socialist/communist shithole because of its mispractice & malinvestment.

If you have non hypocritical axioms and critically strategically correct continuation of intelligence-action, you'll last the longest.

I don't know who this applies too, probably something east-west.

Rothbard

>Pennsylvania, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.

Pretty much every good ruler. A leader has to deal with a variety of issues, the army, the economy, politics, diplomacy, law, etcetera... so it is only natural for a leader to try to cover every aspect of a problem, such as a potential invasion. A diligent leader will predict nearly everything the enemy can conceive of and have a plan for everything, if they are good enough they won't merely mitigate losses but will be to their benefit.

In my opinion most likely julius caesar...he was emperor in all but name, and he named his blood as heir incase he died, he still ruled until he got assassinated by his own people...but his memory lived on for countless ages- id count that as atleast an unintentional "xanatos gambit"...no?

When victory has been abstracted,
Then defeat has been implied.
