Hello /his/
First time on this board, but I figured it would be the best board to "help" me
I found something in my garage from 1850, my grandmas great grandfather, James Grant
My family is related to Ulysses S Grant but no one knows much information about it because no one cared, except me

I can't seem to find anything about this guy though, is James Grant related to Ulysses S Grant?

I will post pictures of the outside of the book/case it was in and the documentation of this photo

Unless this James grant was an important person then we probably won't be able to find anything out about him and its unrelated to /his/
