>tfw you can't actually visualize anything beyond a few years prior to your birth being real and instead visualize it as looking like old movies & pictures

>tfw really poor memory
>tfw people tak about their first day at school, can describe their progression in life and periods of their life in great detail and realize what formed them and what went wrong etc
>meanwhile I'm here with it all just being a whirl from only maybe 6 years ago and prior
>memories don't form as clear images but rather a blurry 'something' in my subconcious
>dreaming is always just really disjointed and almost viewed from third person in this really blurry non-formed state of pure emotion and only 'knowing' of events and not feeling them
>on top of this massive visual snow and brain fog and afterimages all hours of the day
Life doesn't make any sense. These things alone have made me reject all religion pretty much. I sometimes wonder if I live in a simulator gone wrong but quickly dispel that thought.

actually, if you could be transported back in time, things would look similar to the quality those photos and films have, its to do with the sun and how the light from it is different in our atmosphere in different time periods. Ever wondered why no one can ever recreate the precise look of film and photos from the 70s? Especially film, they cant even get close to it.
As for people who were alive at the time, its too gradual for them to notice/remember

I remember only 2 moments when i was 3 years old.
I remember 4-6 very vividly. Like it was yesterday. Maybe because i was happy then.
Elementary school is really blurry. I don't recall many details. I remember only stuff i found notable.
Highschool was recent, so i remember it. But it's not something i think about in general. Not even when talking to my friends from hs. I just don't think about it.
I can still taste the cake from my seventh birthday. Or that one time when dad made an omelette (he doesn't like cooking).
What i wouldn't give to be 4 years old again.

This sounds kinda true. I remember 2003 looking very specific. Gonna have to get a camera from that time and test out the theory.
Also the 90s looked pretty washed out in real life too.

wait, is that not normal?
