Did Britain have any wars in the 1900s?
I'm in the Caribbean, and IIRC, Britain lost a lot of its Caribbean colonies/countries because it was broke, partaking in a long war.
Was it called the 10 year war?
I'm trying to find info on it online, but don't know what it was called.

We're taught that our country is so great for standing up against the British.
Not that Britain was broke for fighting wars throughout the 40s, 50s, 60 etc.and could no longer afford colonies.
Yes, brainwashed, just like every other education.
Fun fact, Turks and Caicos was struggle financially, so they actually re-joined the British empire (Britain can afford to keep them now).

In the period described, the only wars I know are the boxer rebellion, which was highly successfu, the 2nd Boer war, which wasn't too successful and Sudan.
Caribbeans didn't do shit, empires don't make so much money these days.

Which country is that?
As far as I'm aware, none of the British Caribbean colonies actually fought for their independence, but rather were granted it in the decolonisation period.
