My therapist recommended for me to read biographies to inspire me, but they just make me more depressed because it seems like every great person had pretty much everything set up since childhood to be great, and I can't identify with that at all.
Are there any great historical figures who spent the first 25 or so years of their life doing nothing, who went through a crappy education with 0 friends in life? someone who struggles with basic social skills, is pretty dumb generally, and can't even get a simple job? and then after that they bettered themselves and started to do awesome important things?

Genghis Khan had everything stolen from him by his father's rivals. He grew to build one of the largest empires in the history of man. His people were so poor, they made clothes from the skins of field mice and ate insects just to survive. He brought them in control of the Silk Road.
Ludwig Wittgenstein was born into one of the wealthiest families in Europe at the time. Gave up his inheritance and fought in the frontlines of ww1 in what may have been a suicide attempt give nthat 3/4 of his brothers killed themselves.
He then lived in poverty for the rest of his life while acting like an autist at Cambridge.
