Hey guys, I'm thinking of starting a /his/ book club. I recommend Sangokushi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) by Yokohama Mitsuteru. It's in manga format so anyone can read it. It's also very historically accurate and uses actual Chinese names instead of Japonified ones (Probably better than actual translations).
The series has 60 volumes so I'm thinking about reading two volumes per week, that way we can finish within a year. And yes, the series is complete and very well translated.
I'll post a Pastebin if there's enough support.
Here's the book in question (look for it yourself)

Are you going to read a Japanese Manga about Chinese History and hope to learn something?
Is this a new level of troll unforeseen?

It's a straight up adaptation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and a good one to boot. I think I blazed through all 60 volumes in two weeks.
Now, the RoTK isn't exactly accurate but plenty of people consider it worth reading. It makes you familiar with the major players at least.

You are a retard.

I would chide you for having no argument but I'm guessing you haven't read the manga or the novel so it's not like you can contribute anything to the thread.

Chinese researchers often go to Japan for researching own history.

Retard.
The Three Kingdoms was more popular in Japan than in China.
>manga based on a Japanese novel adaptation of a Chinese 14th century compilation of popular folk stories based on historical events that happened more than a millennia ago
>historically accurate
