Europe's Last Pagans
Pic related is the Mari people belonging to the Uralic group
How close is this to other practices that were practiced in Europe. They apparently even sacrifice things in cauldrons, which is probably where the witch(shaman) with cauldron sterotyoe comes from.

Let's stop this meme. The Mari people are West of the Ural mountains suggesting a cultural continuity with the rest of Europe. Although they may have not shared similar pantheon
eons thier practices must be similar to some extent.
Hungarians are Uralic yet seem pretty European visually and culturally
Are there any other pagan enclaves in Europe?

Probably not very. Even if their religion was initially similar to that of other parts of Europe, modern Mari people today are mostly Christian (only around a third at most say they follow the old religion, which doesn't negate Christianity - almost all Mari are baptised), and the ones that aren't either practice a syncretic religion, or a form of paganism that is at least partly reconstructed.

In the caucasus are Abkhazians, the region is very dangerous though.
They claim that small enclaves have hidden their pagan beliefs for a long time and were sucessful with it because that backwater region was often contested and now after the war against the georgians people saw christianity in a bad light and the pagans came out of their hideouts.
Apparently 8% of the abkhazians are now part of this religion and the government officials took part in a bull-sacrifiece in honour of the gods.
Another mention should be the kalash in north pakistan, not european by geography, but they claim to descend from a leftover of one of alexanders leagions and have a pretty polytheistic and archaic form of hinduism.
Afghans and Pakistanis jihaded the shit out of them and now only a few thousand are left with even fewer actually practising these beliefs.
Comparing El maris, abkhazians and kalash people would be interesting.
