Ironically the capitalist states that opposed communism are now far closer to the shining worker's paradise on the hill, whereas most "socialist" states have collapsed in on themselves as the "vanguards of the revolution" loot their country's economy while the proletariat riots due to stores not having flour/rice and beans and their children die of easily treated diseases.
