How is this guy not seen as a massive traitor?
>collaborated with an enemy power
>overthrew and killed the rigtful ruler
>ceded a generous chunk of territory to said enemy power
>launched his country into a massive civil war that killed millions of people
>made his country comparatively weaker, not even being able to beat a completely new country like Poland
I mean, imagine if the US went to war with China and some Chinese agent would cause a civil war in the US and cede Hawaii and all of the West Coast to China, would he not be a traitor?

Pretty sure the Russian Empire /did/ see him as a traitor. Gommunists don't because Gommunism is internationalist, not nationalist, so the prospect of one Capitalist regime unwittingly unleashing Gommunism on a rival Capitalist regime merely amuses them.

I mean if you're communist isn't it kind of weird you would admire a guy that collaborated with a capitalist reactionary monarchy?

The end justifies the means I guess.
>>1531292
No because he didn't. He had been in exile in Switzerland following his earlier attempts to overthrow the Tsar, the Germans merely offered him safe passage, there was no cooperation beyond that.
