Not where I live. I hear this all the time and I believe it for the south/texas but here as soon as I say I'm a christian when asked I get someone aggroing an argument with me a minute later or giving me shit for it as if any other religion would have been acceptable to them, when in actuality if it was any other religion they were making fun of I could arguably be suing for discrimination. All of the "rich" christians I knew ended up with parents suing each other and them ending up broke as fuck and working minimum wage jobs and coming out as LGB or T, none of them have had life easier because of their religion, in fact, most have likely struggled more than someone who had no religion and shrugged it off because of how the short lived Christian revival dissolved after 9/11. It's hilarious that people feel the need to make coined terms about a perceived view of someone having something better off than them. It's literally promoting envy, a lot of the time it isn't even accurate, or it they are misleading themselves, and it leads to anger and hate.
