What are you basing this on? Im an ignorant new worlder and I dont know what northern germans, danes and dutchies have in common.

Used to be language, called Low Saxon. It is reduced to dialects that are slowly dying.

But the map ain't correct because in parts of the Netherlands the language is Low Franconian.

Primarily based on the Duchy of Low Saxony, a territory of the early HRE. It consisted of Westphalia (grayish) Angaria (light red) Eastphalia (crimson red) and Nordalbingia (purple). I played around with some What-If scenarios a bit and had the Low Countries, the Low Franconian language area and Jutland join in. I wanted a country where Western Low German was an official language and with only good parts of Germany and it's neighboring countries.

This is the major question I'm currently considering back and forth. I really want to include the Dutch and Ripuarian language areas, so I figured the Moselle-Franconians should get in as well.

I used a regional map template of Europe and filled it in with MS Paint.
I had it from one of the flagtism threads on /int/ or the Extra Flags for 4chan community if I remember correctly.
