Not on camera, but thats the metal. Its "iron bacteria", basically some bacteria that only lives in iron rich water and you can take water where it exists (the brown goop is such water) and be sure that it has iron in it.
The other ingredients were ashes and clay, just to give the iron some form. Iron plus the burning wood makes the end result, the clay and ashes aren't important.
