What if Genghis Khan was never born and the Mongols stayed in central Asia forever? Would gunpowder still get to Europe? Would the plague still happen? What would the Middle East be like without the Mongols destroying Arab civilization?

The bubonic plague probably won't have spread to Europe, which means serfdom will still be in all of Europe and not just Russia. Also the Ming dynasty probably wouldn't have risen in China and probably would continue to trade with everyone allowing them to continue being the global leader in technology.

Also, the Islamic caliphate probably would have stayed strong and the Ottomans wouldn't exist.

Islamic caliphate was already falling apart because of the shit ton of Iranian principalities were shattering their power and making it harder and harder for the Abbassids to do anything.
we dont know
any more pointless questions?

And this isn't even factoring the turkic incursions going on from the East as well. The Abbassids were going to fall no matter what.
