After causing the two world wars that broke Europe's back as a collection of global powers and now being at the forefront of Europe's decline through mass migration, there must be something uncanny about the German conciousness that drives them to such atrocious deeds.

Germans do not have the capacity to learn anything besides war, hate and greed.
It's probably a matter of biology much more than history, but I would wager that the reason is their own brains. And as such to prevent a war on the scale of WW2 ever again the total genocide of the German race is the preferable utilitarian option.
