Why are Mongol genes and features (narrowed eyes, wispy hair etc) not as prevalent if present at all in other groups like Iranians and Iraqis as they are in groups like Kyrgz and Kazakhs?

Kyrgyz are Turkic, while Iranians and Iraqis are not and have no Mongol influence. Hence they have quite different features. Not sure what's so hard to understand
>>
>>1459455
>Turkic
is a language group, not ethnical/genetic
>>
>>1459513
The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups that live in central, eastern, northern, and western Asia as well as parts of eastern Europe. They speak languages belonging to the Turkic language family. They share, to varying degrees, certain cultural traits and historical backgrounds. The term Turkic represents a broad ethno-linguistic group of peoples including existing societies such as Altai, Azerbaijanis, Balkars, Bashkirs, Chuvashes, Crimean Karaites, Gagauz, Karachays, Karakalpaks, Kazakhs, Khakas, Krymchaks, Kyrgyz people, Nogais, Qashqai, Tatars, Turkmens, Turks, Tuvans, Uyghurs, Uzbeks, and Yakuts
>>
>>1459513
It is also a term for a bunch of ethnic groups such as the Turkmen, Uzbek, Uyghurs etc. retardo
>>
>>1459597
you just copypasted a passage confirming what i said.

congrats i guess

Take Azeris who are Iranic in everything but the language.

Or turks who have barely any connection to central asian and siberian turkics people.
>>
>>1459648
The passage confirms turkic can refer to the range of ethnic groups
>>
>>1459442
All Central Asian peoples emigradeted westwards:

1)indo Europeans->from eastern Scythia to Western Asia and Europe

2)Turkics and Mongols -> from Mongolia into Central Asia
>>
>>1459653
exactly

Range of DIVERSE ethnic groups who often share nothing but common language group

Are you going to claim random Lipka tatar from poland, Azerbaijani from Caucasus and Yakut from Siberia are all the same?
>>
>>1459648
>turkic is a language group
>azeris are iranic in everything but the language
>iranic is a language group also
Okay, you kekkoon
>>
>>1459442
>>1459455
Bigger reason -- Iran has historically hosted a much denser population than Central Asia. The sperm of 20,000 Mongols will have a greater impact on a community of 50,000 than a community of 2,000,000.
>>
>>1459662
Still ethnic groups ;)
>>
>>1459667
This is sort of right, though it's more due to various migration over the centuries rather than just the one Mongol invasion.

Densely populated urban regions like Iran and Transoxiana tend to keep the same population over time. Iranians probably looked the same since before the Elamites, and Iraqis since before Sumerian times.

Sparsely populated steppes, deserts and mountains tend to change with migrations, hence why the Tarim Basin used to be caucasian while today there are Asians as far west as Kalmykia and as far south as Afghanistan, and throughout the region people tend to look mixed-race.

Those bubbly cheeks m8
>>
>>1459513
it is

a people similar to modern Uyghurs, who are racially east asians, conquered central asia and mixed with the iranian locals in the same way Spaniards mixed with the natives in the Americas.

>Language based ethnic-groups

I guess a Turk who can speak German is ethnically Germanic then.

Pic related, "Turks" are pretty much Turkish-speaking Kurds.
