Is the history of all hitherto existing society really the history of class struggles, or was Marx just autistic?
Marx was wrong.
All historical reductionists should be shot.
Class struggles are an important factor of history but these aren't the only one.

This is always wrong in history
depends on what marx means by society. but it does seem fair to say that most human societies have had classes which contain interests opposite other members of the society. is that true for primitive human societies? maybe, maybe not. i'm not sure that primitive societies had conceived of class at the time of their existence.
but it does seem fair to say the history of most societies since the greeks and romans is based on opposite interests within those societies by and large.

This.

Anyone who tries to reduce history to the effects of a single factor is wrong

History is the effects of physical matter

Anyone who tries to reduce anyone reducing history to a single factor to a single factor is wrong.

Basically this. Marx wasn't necessary wrong, but class struggle took a back seat to a lot of other factors when determining historical outcomes.
