Let's have a book recommendation thread, /his/.
I am looking for entry level books on medieval history. I enjoyed pic related. Currently reading Norwich's "The Normans in the South", which I'm also enjoying so far.
I would like something similar for medieval France or Germany. What would you recommend? I also saw a lot of books on the Byzantines at my local bookshop but I have no clue what to pick.
