Europe is a very shitty place if you are a guy who likes nothing but meat since there is no fucking megafauna at all. You get so hungry you resort to eating other members of your species because they have the highest mass in Europe so it makese sense to consume them though you cant store the meat.

More like, can't into hunting on grasslands.

>no fucking megafauna at all.
there was megafauna.
But we killed and ate it.
Wild Oxens you had up to the middleages tho.
Wild european bufffalo (yes there is such a thing) survives to this day in tiny pocket populations.

That's kind of a shitty argument, since "no megafauna" applies to literally everywhere after the Ice Age. The closest thing we have is elephants, and those weren't usually hunted for food as much as smaller game.
In fact, your whole point is specious because smaller game like deer are plenty big enough to support a small/medium amount of people. Its not like, historically, Europe ever had a problem with "not enough meat"

Don't some types of moose count as megafauna?

The most recent ice age began over 2.5m ya and we're still in it.
