The thing about this tool is that I don't have any use for it. Any scraping I do I know how to pull it off manually, this was purely for education.
A quick and dirty summary:

Remove anti-tamper from main executable then dump to disk.
Decrypt using ConfuserExConstantDecryptor (find it yourself).
Copy executable then perform the rest of deobfuscation (ConfuserExSwitchKiller, ConfuserExCallFixer, ConfuserExMethodsDecryptor...) not a necessary step but helped heaps in analysis.
Step through algorithm and observe:
It is essentially a character swap, custom tokenisation, ASCII sums, some unusual conversion back and forth between hex and decimal then modulo to keep it all within range.
Info is then concatenated to form a license string then hashed and compared against a central DB of hashes.
Given that we know the format of hashes, possible to dump out legit customer info (hashcat mask attack).
The above credentials produce the following data pre-hash:

You can see why this would be a formidable attack surface.
After all this bullshit you can generate a legit serial but because it does not exist in the main DB it will fail registration anyway. Turns out ya boi Squidy manually updates that file. Fug. Luckily you can simply hex edit the URL (decrypted constants!) for the central DB and stash your precomputed hash in there, ie:

When the application checks validity, it'll always pass.

As a rough ROUGH estimate, the author apparently made a fair bit of $$$ from the tool.

That's a good system. I add any associated OVA adaptions into the same directory as their manga source. I also keep Non-H works by H artists in the same folder together with the rest as well for completion-sake.

Survey for /h/ Collectors:
Let's say you have a bundle of translated magazine scans and new high-res (like double the width/height px) tank of the collected chapters. The image quality is superior but the censorship is actually WORSE on the tank version (see pic) maybe because 2020 is approaching. Would it be preferable/worth re-editing or not?

I managed to get Gelbooru working by disabling uBlock and having Privacy Badger block the domains that gelbooru connects to.

So, what Gelbooru is doing is hiding all the previews by checking the existence of a certain element on the page. Since ublock removes the element that its looking for, it triggers the script that hides all of the elements. Privacy badger just blocks the connections, but leaves the elements alone otherwise, therefore tricking gelbooru into thinking the ads are displayed on the page.

Happypanda seems to delete all monitoring directories on restart if I add at least one with japanese characters in it.

ex seems to be behaving a bit weird today. Sadpanda torrent inline isn't working, and bringing up the torrent page manually on a gallery shows all torrents as 0 seeders 0 leechers.

Also it says Hanafuda has no chapters, but it has 13 inside the book (1 for each month + epilogue). It was released all in one piece though, so I dunno how you define "# of releases." Either way, the comment on there is incorrect.

The chapters are in the reader and in the book if you just read it: Susuki Month, Chrysanthemum Month, Maple Month, and so on. There's no title for the epilogue, but there's a blank page before it, so it's pretty obvious it's meant as a epilogue. It's 12 or 13 chapters depending on how fussy you want to be about it.

I never said remove it. I said move it to a separate tab on the spreadsheet to avoid clogging up the main page with pointless information. It served a purpose 1 year ago, but with the exception of 10 or so interviews, everything is at 100% now. If anything, keeping it front and center is good PR for them. Ultimately, it was just a suggestion, unlike the other two mistakes. I think it would make the doc cleaner, but up to whoever maintains it.

Just look for a group that'll make a new crack, there's a pretty big community in software and serial cracking. I'm sure if you ask nice enough they can most likely make a permanent one. It's a nHentai downloader. It works but the UI could do with some refinement.
It'll accept a query and return a list of results, it automatically crawls pages so words like "sample" will take a long time.
Downloads are performed by double clicking an icon, or popup entry.
Popup entries are grouped by similarity, so results won't be a 1:1 match to the onsite search.

Quick answer is no you can't change the file path...
But that depends on what you are trying to do.
Are you changing it from a folder to a compressed zip file? Are you moving it to another folder path?
One way i did this was to use a database browser (DB sqlLite). Tag the galleries you want to move with something you can remember and different from all other tags. Make a copy of the db of happypanda and view/edit it with a database editor. Navigate to browse data and navigate or search for that specific tag and from there you can see the folders you want to move and change the file paths will require a lot of deleting and or pasting depending if you want to move it to specified folders (still beats starting over again)

Let's say you have 100 galleries. Most of the time. More or less, it will fetch 95 of those galleries the rest of the 5 you have to do manually. Making sure you log in to your sad panda account on happypanda. In my case I use a program that fetches the tags on sadpanda or whichever site I'm on, turns it into .txt that way the tags are already added when you add them on happypanda, skips the process of having to fetch the gallery information and straight to just adding the galleries into the library from your inbox

Is there an easier way to download my favorites off ehentai? What I've been doing is using eze to search for the title on nhentai and pasting it to a text file to download later with hdoujin downloader.

You are showing an example of a "faulty" system on a category that has no dialogue and some people mistake it just because of the visuals. That mistake you then hope is corrected by the sadpanda community more or less.

Artist CG not so much evenif they are in Japanese and there enough people that know Japanese well enough to understand the dialogues including me.
I can also provide examples of many of untranslated works that are mistagged by the community. For example there are galleries tagged as netorare depspite the wife being a widow. Another instance is when the premise shows the supposed husband/bf being in a relationship with the girl but that's not really the case.
Point and case here of course is they would mistag them especially if they are not in English, untranslated, and or textless.
Now if you can give me hundreds of examples of doujins that are translated or untranslated that are mistagged I would be more inclined to believe that the tagging system needs to be heavily "revised."

That's the same issue that occurred in testing. No idea what causes it. The physical structure of the executable changes so this is probably a side effect. I'm trying to use HappyPanda but it seems to treat every top-level folder in my collection as a single group - I have nested folders, and most of it is individual images (which I've put in a corresponding folder, by thing/ then by sub-thing or etc).

How can I differentiate between doujinshi and individual images? As in, I'd want individual images and doujinshi to be treated exactly the same. I want to add tags to each doujinshi, and tags to each individual image (which don't belong to a doujinshi).

Hey guys, HDoujin Downloader dev here.

Piracy happens. You make something popular enough, and sooner or later someone's going to crack it. You can delay it, but stop it altogether? Not going to happen, so I'm not planning to put up much of a fight.

To those of you that don't think it's worth paying for, I'm genuinely interested in knowing what I could do to make it worth it to you. I take requests and user feedback in general seriously, and the majority of requested sites/features end up getting added.

I think a lot of people believe I'm just a greedy jerk for charging for full-use of the program. The thing is, it's incredibly time-consuming keeping everything up-do-date, and I find myself spending 10+ hours a day trying to keep up with site updates and replying to people's questions. I understand that some people don't agree with paying for a ripper, but I see it more as helping to support the massive amount of dev time that it takes to keep it running. For whatever reason, it's a task a lot of people don't feel like taking on (repetitive, tedious?). Look at FMD-- fully open-source, and yet it's maintained by just one guy.

I too am just one guy. HDoujin Downloader is a full-time project. While I'm passionate about maintaining it, it's not feasible to put so much time into it without asking for some support in exchange. I want to continue maintaining it for years to come, so any help you guys can offer really does help.

If you can afford it, please consider supporting it. If you can't, I obviously don't hold it against you.

That folder structure is pretty ridiculous. Seems like your adding more work for yourself renaming them and finding what tank they're from since a lot of chapters releases barly put what tank they're from.

Agreed. Too much hassle. Time consumption can be ficed with adcanced renamer for changing the name of folders and archives. Andvanced renamer can also change .zip to .cbz extension.

It's more of a principle. You're effectively cheating the sites that your application supports. You're cutting their ad revenue and profiting off the side of it. It's only natural that things came full circle. These sites are maintained full time, 10+ hours a day etc. etc.

Probably nothing. Just not buying and uploading the books for whatever reason. The main problem has always been finding someone willing to upload and someone willing to seed it. It hasn't always been the same person. Sometimes I had to resort to posting it in the channel, using a different name each time as doing so was amusing, because I couldn't find anyone to upload or seed it. People are probably still buying, it just isn't being uploaded as a torrent on nyaa. It still may be uploaded somewhere else. I wouldn't know. I know there's been at least 7 different book buyers. There likely have been more that I don't know about.

There isn't a book buying group that I'm aware of. It's mostly all loosely channel affiliated, and then individuals who upload elsewhere. A lot of stuff is distributed and sometimes claimed by others are buying it themselves though.

I believe new tags go in misc:, ie misc:first_last
You need something like 25 mod power to add new tags though, because most people suck at it.
Or just ask on the forums.
