Yeah. Then you should know about the autotrack feature.
Attach a shape to a animation gimmick with the parenting function, then use autotrack to attach an IK handle to that shape.

The gimmick will be your animation, and the shape will be your controller for fine tuning and positioning.
You need to be pretty creative with rotations and pistons if you want more complex animations, but pistons can get the job done for the most part. The biggest problem is trying to do offsets which controls how early or how late an animation of a joint starts.

In a nutshell
Old Studio: Pistons only with manually adjustable offset, but no rotation gimmicks or easy IK placements.
Studio Neo: Pistons x Rotation with more IK control due to parenting, but little to no control over offsets.

It doesn't in studio. The main difference between softness settings is how high the breasts on the characters are. If you set them to be heavy they will sag low and vice versa. I'm not sure if they affect weight in the main game but I know for a fact they don't in both studios. Studio treats them as weightless items and they just swing everywhere like hair.

Hi, I've been having issues with HS ever since the latest patch, I'm unable to load scenes in either studioNEO or the old studio, in neo it lags for 2 sec and then it just stays as the blue screen while in the old studio just the main character model is loaded in a default position, nothing else. Honestly I use it because 4k hasn't been updated for old studio (and likely never will be) and a lot of my waifus have graphical anomalies now in it

I didn't want to keep another 20+ gb install just to use the old studio either. Neo has potential but I think its gonna need a lot more mod support before it surpasses the old studio. Now that's interesting. I assume that /h/ and related points of distribution of modding work for /h/ games fail to deliver sufficient praise for the author's egos. Consequently they "punish" by no longer releasing their work, no matter how substantial. However as a move to fuel their egos they cannot receive any attention without having something of value and as such tease their work to fill the same gap.

There's probably some crossover point where they think that the disapproval for not sharing work is worthwhile so long as people want their content. While their work is unavailable, they remain relevant. As such *never* releasing their work provides the same notoriety without having to ever move onto making new stuff. It's the ultimate pride.

It's invise ring on a second char. Then you just shrink/grow said char to get the pants or any other article of clothing where you want it. The quickest easiest way is in NEO create an outfit with the invise ring and then assuming your using the studio addon you just load two of the same char load the second select costume and check only load accessory. Helps to also put the summon ring in the same costume so you can have the invis on any char you want without having to make separate costumes or characters. That might seem convulted but I don't like having a bunch of random cards, I'd rather just make outfits and load those on demand. Being that you can load clothing and accs separately in studio I like that best, even with the limitation of losing the current accessories on the char, which Is why I recommend also loading the acc ring and changing out fit slots.

This is also how people have random shoes and clothing often lying around in their scenes, you can adjust the characters IK to place the shoes how you want irrespective of how bad it fucks up the char itself cause you don't see it.

And just like skyrim everyone is running different mod setups and different slot ids so sharing cards outside of the general basic mods is pointless because you end up having all these people complain about how the char doesn't look like that in game.

Not who you are responding to but this is mine. The new cubemap mod allows you to bring the contrast back in really easily so it doesn't require any more effort than simply using 4k outside of changing your chars over to the ex_body which you don't have to use I guess, but I do. That part takes a bit if your using 100 chars, I cycle through maybe 10 and delete the last few every now and then if I haven't used them in a scene in while.

So this is the Scene; it's NEO and it requires at the very least the HS_StudioNEOAddon_v0.7.4 or greater along with LRE and the Image based Lighting addon from plasticmind. When you load the scene if you're not familiar you need to select the tow chars and check Ik/FK at the bottom to re-enable both functions so they go to pose in SS. The lighting should all be set up as hss saves it to the scene card but just in case I'll post an SS of what I set those parameters to. Image based lighting is brought up with f5 (disbale shortcuts mod if you have it installed , default is S) and the settings will be in ss though again I think they load with card. The walls and floors are Plastic's LRE stuff. Bathtub and tables used for moulding are from rara.jp/playclub/page5780 somewhere (just download everything there. and the various shit is clothing mods or bloodmoney studio items which I can't be bothered to list. The character used the ex_body and will be all fucked up without LRE installed but then so would everything else. Using this as a template you can light all your scenes similar to equal effect.

You'll see a Load (old) thing then. But I should warn you a lot of them won't look right and can't be altered. I'm pretty close to giving up on Neo at this point. I imported a blowjob scene and no matter what I did, the head couldn't be moved. I think it got bugged. Neo looks better than old studio and allows 4k, but that doesn't mean much when 90% of my scenes won't work with it. I wish Plasticmind or whoever make 4k would fix the old Studio up with 4k and nicer graphics already
