More than likely because he is in good networking with the animators. A Yuuki only puts out a story once every blue moon now a days, although they've already made a hefty amount of good stories. Gotta say, though, I fucking despise his love for cliff hangers. It makes you want to know what will happen next when you next Yuuki ain't going to make more.

The recession, during 2007 - 2008 it seems pink pineapple needed yuki's work to keep them from going bankrupt. So many studios died during that time and groups got scattered around.

It was pretty much a life-line of free money. Everything past episode 4 in stringendo is anime original. Milky, T-rex and pink pineapple seemed to have work together on other projects at the time to stay above water. But milk died and T-rex and Pink pineapple lived.

Large part because of Yuki setos works. It's just a shame we didn't get Amamori spear animated. Hentai changed a lot after the recession. Poro shot up to the top post recession but now it seems like Pink Pineapple and Mary. jane are on top now.
