You'll have to change the filepath to match yours, too. Here's my directions from my Horsefu card comments:
"Edit the "target" version of your HS shortcut

Well to begin with, if you have slight experience with the command line, its pretty easy.
Use cd to get to the HS install path, then run the wideslider patch with the proper arguments.
As an example, for Buff's path,
# cd /d "D:\etcetcpath\HoneySelect"
# HoneySelect_64_WideSliderPatch.exe --slidermin=-200 --slidermax=500
I'll try to write a virus later today to help out on this.

Well the latest HSStudio mod lets you do this in the studio. I was controlling all that with just a mouse input. It's not perfect, though; there's some pretty bad clipping going on. But that's probably fixable.

Does anyone have a reliable way of making proper shortstack characters yet? Been trying for months to get proper goblins and whatnot but have yet to find a way to do it right.
I can use widesliders to get height down to -80 or so which is a good start, but it shrinks everything on the body to proportion and I can't find a way to alter bone structure after the fact.
Hip width doesn't actually make the hips wider, it just adds fat to the hips. What I need is to be able to actually make the body wider, making the legs wider apart.
I tried the "bone alter" thing, but that just does the same thing the default sliders do, just adds or subtracts fat to different parts, doesn't actually change position of anything.
Please help.

I used to use my Oculus DK2 on a GTX780, and it worked just fine with only 3gb oncard memory. No hiccups or sync errors, and you can get better cards then that for crazy cheap these days. I've seen GTX 1050 for as low as $130 and it's 5gb oncard.
When I got the new headset though I upgraded to a 1060 with 6gb, and the difference is pretty impressive. All graininess in the image is gone, and the depth is frightening at times. I used to sit in my chair and use my mouse to scroll around the scene, but with how realistic it looks now that actually gives me vertigo and nausea pretty fast, so I set up a 8x6 playspace that I walk around in and use the touch hand controllers. Literally the only downside to VR is it's starting to get addictive, it genuinely feels like I'm spending time with other people.
Footnote, I wear glasses, and the oculus works just fine around them.

I'm sure it's possible to stream the visuals, but honestly the image alone is not what makes the headset realistic. To my knowledge no phonesets can currently track 3d movement, meaning the images have no depth. If moving your head forward doesn't get you closer to the action, the illusion is lost.

It's hard to explain the difference until you've experienced it. Imagine a small artwork sculpture in an art gallery somewhere. You can look at pictures of it from every angle, maybe even watch live video of it, but until you can actually, physically walk around it, lean down and inspect it, watch how the shadows move over it's edges, you can't truly appreciate it.
