I have japanese language and setup installed already. I have been trying forever to make See you lover works but all I get after is a white screen then windows says it had stopped working even after changing the config.text. Without changing config.text the game doesn't even start. The solution according to the technical page is to decrease default format for audio down to 44100Hz but I can't do that in windows xp. The same problem happens in love death and renai+H. Though Tech48 works fine.

I don't have SYL on hand, but both LoveDeath and Renai+H work on my machine out of the box as is (no updates, no patches, nothing).
It might be a driver or codec issue. For the latter, try replacing video files with empty files to check this (delete or move suspicious .avi/.mpg file, then create a new .txt file and name it as the file in question).
These games work from any directory, so move them to a location with short ASCII-only path (for example D:\Games\TEATIME\LoveDeath) and try to run them from there in Japanese locale (although even AppLocale is enough for me)

Tip: create an empty file called "DVDFile" in the root of any drive (say, C:) to work around the disc check for all TEATIME games which have this file in the root of their ISO/disc.

It's probably a result of the snow rendering. Believe it or not the snow you see flurrying about is actually random crystalline-shaped snowflakes scaled to the proper size, so the renderer is actually doing all of them moving. They're not just specks.

So yeah, what you're seeing could just be the render having been made faster in order to get it out in time. You can always tell/ask him on his blog, he does understand English (mostly).

I have the exact same pc as the guy in the video, so it seems I need to adjust the graphic config.text after all, I downloaded Nikutai Keiyakusho to copy the graphic config to the other games but somehow the data folder is missing. I would be grateful if you have the game and can upload the folder or know which download has the folder in it since the game is old and alot of links are dead.

Yeah, figured out what the issue is. I was using an applelocale emulator on Win10, which was the root cause for slowing the fps down in its absurdity. Turn that thing off, and voila! Running like a charm.
