I have performance problems with this game. Quite serious. Even when I have 800x600 resolution. And I do not know why :( Wtf can be wrong?
I have a graphics card GTX 750TI OC and a pentium g3250 4.7GHz
I have also Windows 10 (the latest build) Could that be the problem?
I tried to delete the file d3d9.dll from SysWOW64 and System32 (in the previous thread, it was recommended by some anon) But it is required by the game

So anyone has any idea, please?

Low/lowest virtue characters will put out easier, highest virtue characters won't even become your lover if you already have one, and high has a fairly low chance

It was one of two things:

Then, install your drivers for graphics card. (In my case it was Nvidia Gtx750Ti) And although I had trouble installing Shadowplay, (because windows 10, ithink) the game Artificial Academy 2 is fine! 60fps!

Well, I suddenly had the compulsion to go through the insanity of installing this game again. Running the game normally is fine, but trying to run it through any Frontier pack causes the game to crash when I try to begin or load up a class. What am I missing?

The first three options are for casual conversation, for the NPC to get to know you better. You can do each 3x times every day, and they get annoyed if you do more than that.

The fourth option gets them romantically interested in you. They may not talk to you about it if they aren't close. You can do that one 3x per days to each person as well.

The fifth option gets them horny. They might not talk about it if they aren't close. Again, can do it 3x times a day. You'll hear a background music change if they get horny.

Once they are close and romantically interested/horny, you can start using the heart options on them. How well they work depends on the character's prudishness, how close they are, how horny they are, etc. Romantic-minded individuals would be more open to dating, sluttier individuals more open to sex. Some characteristics would prevent them from cheating on their spouse, and so on.

long time no-player here...used to play aa2 a year back, but then win10 happened and as i remember issues here and there existed so didnt even try installing. i was trying other types of hentai games anyway so didnt bother me much.

I have a problem where none of the characters appear in the games overworld. Its just the background, but I can move around and trigger scenes, but only with the premade characters. Anyone know a fix?

I have all the required subtitles but I am pretty tired of all the subtitle bloat though. The screen is never not full of subtitles. It's like picking up what everybody says everywhere.

Is there anyway to change it so it only displays the subtitles of whoever is in the same room as you - or if it's not what subtitles do I delete to remove the bloat?

I download HEXACC and it gave me two folders. I heard that you will only choose one base on how you modified the game.

Because a character is just a bunch of numerical values. You can append a bunch of numbers to any old png without affecting anything. You can even append rar files, although in that case 4chan won't accept them.

recently DL'd the game and having problems with reiedit, first the PNG folder is corrupted says my winrar, second I can't load any save that makes use of characters with Hexa stuff(minus hair) and lastly when i tried to re-extract i couldn't even run it because i need a different bit type of the program. please help this poor soul.

So I was deleting a lot of redundant character variations and all the characters that "came" with the game (not sure if they were user created) since I've made a few dozen of my own.

But...now the 3d Rooms mod isn't working, meaning the rooms aren't there. Do you think there's any connection? I've tried reinstalling the mods with the More Cumming positions mod and patch but to no avail

There are boy cards, with penises. Go check the Character Database in OP, tick the Male box for gender.
If you want to watch said boys have sex with each other you'll need the Futanari And Gay Sex Mod collection from the pastebin, also linked in OP - in the base game it just fades out and goes to the after-sex screen.

I have a problem with the translations, I added the translation stuff in the folders like the readme told me to, but now the menu won't open when I'm in-game, and the save makes the game crash.

I got a GTX 970 and this game runs like crap on windows 10. Never had this problem in W7.

Could it be that the only step I didn't follow was changing the AA2 primary file to 'DISK1'? Daemon tools wasn't going to read the iso if I changed the name. Otherwise the game runs error free, even when modded. It just runs really choppy.

You don't need admin access, in fact the no-install can be ""installed"" without having admin access to your computer at all using a completely unprivileged user account. Only the installer requires admin access.

The game itself requires registry entries for only current user to point out where the directory is located and you can have different directories defined in registry under different user accounts, which is how I am able to run two completely different copies of AA2 through the use of "run as adminstrator" vs simply double clicking the exe. It is even possible to run the game with an AA2.exe that is outside of the correct folder

It is true that AA2 leaves behind the registry entries that are necessary to run it, but other than that it can be made portable, can be run without privileged account and without leaving traces.
The registry entries are the only thing that is outside of the AA2 folder.

How would one update a character card that worked with HEXAOC v2.4 and HEXAHP v2.5 for HEXAOC v2.6 and HEXAHP v3.0 or later?

The pastebin is not outdated for MCP and 3D rooms. The hongfire versions are completely different mods wth similar names. Their objects mod in particular is a bloated mess that can make your p01 file too big to read, especially if you use a 3D uncensor.

2.6.2 and 3 are different mods wth different position selections. I think there's only a handful of different poses though. 2.6.2 works with the pastebin 3D rooms and 3 works with hongfire's rooms and objects, but if you're up for some manual modding you can add or remove room objects at will to suit your tastes.

I think it's more of a matter of new people being afraid to or uninterested in posting and old people moving on to do other things.

A community needs a constant stream of new people to join as old ones leave and aa2g didn't have it. So you just had a bunch of people who had been posting for years hanging out there. At a point they decided to do something else with their time and the thread went the way of the dodo as a result.

The people who posted content eventually stopped for various reasons (bored, scared off, whatever) and no one stood up to fill the voids. Trying to install the HEXA Override Collection, readme says I need it and to put the .XML files in the Override folder in ReiEdit and one in the Random folder for ReiEdit.

Tantoo is a tan manager that lets you quickly and easily swap out your base tan slots for whatever you'd want to fill them with. AA2Unlimited removes the need for tan slots entirely by letting you pick the skin of every character using loose files.

Tantoo modifies your e03 (textures) file. It replaces the files for your tan slots, and its naming conventions are set up to always have the same filenames in each tan.
The file naming system for tantoo is immediately obvious if you look at any of the tans that come with it. If you don't have a folder for the tan you're looking for, you'd have to make it.

so you won't really need the HF patch except for small shit like ReiEdit (which is on HF) and the uncensor (which is out of date in the HF patch, at least for the MK.III uncensor)

From my experience the filecopy.exe is finicky, and I'm on Win7. It shouldn't say it can't open .exe files, that is odd. Then again I don't use Win10.
At this point I'd say uninstall the game completely and then either reinstall in the right order (pastebin and/or via http://wiki.anime-sharing.com/hgames/index.php?title=Artificial_Academy_2/Technical_Help) or use the pre-installed version at http://tsukiyo.me/AAA/AA2.torrent
You may want to clean the registry with something like CCleaner in between deleting the old, fucked-up version and a newer, better one. Up to you.

The Win10 anniversary update changed how Direct3D 9 works slightly, which AA2 doesn't like. This DLL is an older version that fixes AA2 and shouldn't create any issues with other games,

So I've been trying to raise love points on a card, but their favorability rating keeps dropping along with love, like really quickly, for no reason I can tell and anything other than caress is a instant 0% and I couldn't fight anything on the wiki, does anyone know why this might be happening?

I've gotten 0 errors loading and installing the game (I've tried both changing Windows locale and locale emulator installs) and followed the instructions to the letter as far as first setup and updates go. However as soon as I play the game (without mods) and go into, say, the girl editor in the very beginning. My performance drops to maybe 10-20fps. Walking around town runs 60+, but anytime it zooms in on a girl (like to conversate) it drops back to 10-20fps.

I have Win 10, GTX970, i7.

I'm not sure what I could be jacking up...

Hey guys, I downloaded the HEXACC clothes pack for the first time and it's installed but I'm having issues.

The first time I installed it, it worked fine but whenever I entered the game, the girls were invisible.

I uninstalled the wizzard version then installed it using the HEXACC installer. Now whenever I try to load a game or go to school, it just crashes.

In what universe is that "working fine?" Sounds like you ran out of disk space while installing it. The wizzard cannot uninstall it. Get AA2Install and try installing it with that.
