It's quite literally a beta version distributed to get feedback and report bugs on new things. The beta includes a 'conversation' system where you can type at Sylvie (in Japanese) and have her respond, as well as separating 'lewd' clothing items into a special 'night-only' clothes shop. The babydoll makes a return, and it also includes resources showing that the new dinner scene will likely be in 1.5 as well.

It's very incomplete, however. As expected of a beta.

At the moment, the 'conversation' system is very basic. Ray put it in as a proof-of-concept at best, as it's really just pre-baked reactions to certain specific phrases. Thus, it works the same way as the name system in English. You put in all the English phrases associated with that Japanese phrase, and the TL script handles the rest.

Dunno if it'll get any more complex once the final version's out, though. I don't peg Ray as the sort of guy who could program an AI from scratch, but you never know...

The mod patch includes a ton of files unnecessary to the translation, which is probably why it works. The unmodded patch only includes the files that actually change the game components to English, so if you don't actually have a proper copy of the game it isn't gonna function properly.

Proves that whatever pirated copy of 1.4.2 you grabbed isn't actually 1.4.2 though. Perhaps it's 1.3.1? Where did you get it from? I'd like to take a poke at it to confirm.

I Wed some help guys. I have a version of the game that's already patched for English and all that stuff. I downloaded op's patch to uncensored the game but there are tons of conflicts between the two files (different font and entirely different scene pics or whatever) so when I do replace the data folder the in game starts off right but then goes to a black screen once the opening scene finishes.

Yeah, I was upset when he gave me the book and told me how to make the drugs, but it doesn't trigger anything lewd. Same with flowers, you'll collect them automatically from going in the forest, but you have to choose to use them. Which you can't do unless lust is 15 anyways, so you have to do lewd to use them. Same with drugs.

Basically just headpat, raise affection, buy cute clothes, repeat. You can go back to the restaurant by going out to the town in the PM, which you do by headpatting/talking/working a few times to take up time.
