How come so few hentai get licenced and decensored for western audiences? I remember in years past quality titles like Mezzo Forte/Kite, Night Shift Nurses, and then shittier ones from my youth like Teacher's Pet and La Blue Girl...lots of stuff coming over.
I couldn't actually name one of the last couple years though. Is it just me or is there a drought in high end content?

The nips kept pirating the English version and depending on the audio would either remove the subtitles or re-dub with the audio from the Japanese version.
End result was that everybody in Japan pirated because they got a superior uncensored version that way.
