Copying some stuff from the old thread.

Some technical advice for interested FH makers, I'm no expert though:

? video format H.264 (MPEG4-AVC)
? ? best encoded using x264, preset veryslow, CRF 20, tune animation. If you can only set a bitrate, go for 3000 kb/s that's more than enough
? audio format AC3, AAC or Vorbis
? ? (doesn't really matter, at 128 kb/s they are all better than CD-quality MP3s)
? container MP4 or MKV
? resolution HD 720p if your hentai sources are HD too, if not: avoid upscaling and disrupting aspect ratio

Editing software likely doesn't have the best-in-class encoding libraries, in that case you can render in lossless (H.264 with CRF 0 and FLAC audio, that's gonna make ~30 GB file) and then transcode properly with a tool like HandBrake, Avidemux or command-line ffmpeg. Your CPU is going hot for 4 hours but the quality should be top-class, about 800 MB file for 30 minutes sounds good.

Finally, distribution: Mega.nz folder, Mediafire, Dropbox, whatever is fast HTTP(S) cloud storage. Download once to make sure the file is complete and ready for sharing.

And within days it's gonna be on a certain onahole blog in HTML5 streaming for everyone to fap to :)

Just a tip from someone doing fap research. Using an onahole, the max speed is about 200 BPM, although that's best reserved for final stages and such, for regular use about 160 BPM is a good soft ceiling. It's also better to use more slow speeds than devil fast speeds because then you get slow teasing instead of cheese-grating your dick.

For hands, you can go quite a bit higher, but your arms might get tired.

you got some quite nice syncing going on there, the movement fits very well with the beats. the beatbar is just the right size and personally i like that there is some kind of story going on there in the host part - overall alot of work went into the host stuff (i guess).
will be nice when it is in english, sadly i can't speak french so i can't help you translate.

also good source material and music choice was decent too, closer to the end added hentai voices make it even better/harder

Very nice. It definitely looks like you put a lot of work into this. I loved how you added in the voices like near the end. It's a great touch, and the ending where they all started doing was amazing; I came pretty much just cause the voices came in.

I do have a few things I didn't exactly like about it though. The scene at 19 minutes in kind of sucked as it was only a blowjob, and the guy being a fat fuck didn't help either. The music also kind of mellowed out a lot in the second half (after that scene), which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I found it a bit harder to get into.

Damn, that was some pretty solid stuff. The beat bar was absolutely on-point, both timing and design-wise, the material chosen was great and the music was also really good.

Though, as others have pointed out, the 19 minute blowjob scene was pretty mediocre, since the scene alone wasn't that amazing (the animation and all was great, just the "fat guy getting blowjob" thing really isn't my cup of tea) and the music for it also was kinda lackluster.

Overall it's definitely one of the better ones, getting extra points because the soundtrack didn't use any old, overused tracks.

That's actually something I felt was a stylistic choice. At first I felt kinda gypped that each scene didn't have a climax... and then in the final round climaxes from EVERY SINGLE SCENE BEFORE suddenly came in.

The lack of "sexy lyrics" can probably be excused by him being French. And instrumental is fine too.

The gaps between scenes might have been a bit long, though, I agree, but there :is: a plot in there - I can read just enough French to know catch some vocabulary in there.

Now, here's what I didn't like about it and that could be improved next time.

All around i think the music was the weak part of your project.

It started out fine but I expected the music to get progressively faster and "stronger" with each round to match the increasing difficulty.

Like you said, the ingrid "acceleration round" was badly executed.
Don't get me wrong, the ideia was fucking great, I got extremely aroused when this part started, but it fell completely flat.
The hentai scene and the editing was great, it just needed a little extra spice, moans sounds, and snippet of a different song maybe.

Loved it!! Looking forward for more!

Very good work.
Pretty much all top tier sources, which is probably the biggest factor in how much I like a video, and in most heroes there's usually at least one that I'm not a big fan of.
Great consistent syncing with the beats. Also you didn't do what a lot of them tend to with making the beats so complex and changing that I just ignore them. You kept them easy to get down and focus on the content. The ingrid one took a bit to get, but with the repetition and the trust you'd gained in the first couple segments I stuck to it and enjoyed the speedup there. That's actually where I lost on my first run (I was a little short on time so I just let it happen without cheating)
There are very few heroes I actually try to follow the rules for very long (like the original and a couple of the "Cock Hero - blah" ones) but this looks to be a new one worth playing along with.

When making these what order do you generally do things in? Beats first then edit the scenes onto the beats? Do you consider the scenes in the source you're using at all when mapping the beats?

I don't know how the other creators procede, but here's the steps I followed :
-Find the music
-Map the beats using Audacity (And save the project, if you need to make some changes)
-Edit the scenes onto the beats using Vegas Pro
-Add the Beatbar using After Effects

And I don't really consider the scenes when I'm mapping the beats.

Two questions:
Has any other creator adopted the "modular" or "chapter" approach like GU has? Foot fetish stuff is an instant bonerkill for me, and it seems fap hero 1, this modular/chapter approach, and simply editing the stuff out of the 40 minute videos into a "personal mix" is the only way to avoid it.

Question 2, for Bastati, if they're around.
Where the hell did you get the balzac and ackerman dance? I wanted to find it elsewhere and get JUST that portion individually, without the beat bar or cut-aways to other scenes.
However, it seems that some sort of shit went down. The owner of the original high-def vid did one of two things. Went ego batshit and removed it from the internet via copyright requests, or got hit by someone else pulling copyright stuff on them. I've managed to locate 20+ sites that previously hosted it in varying forms, but literally all of them have had the video removed on copyright grounds, and the main youtube version went private and the owner awol.

I just find this strange as the original uploader was apparently selling access to the models for use in MMD, one of which was barely an edit to an already existing model. They got called out on it (deviantart) and went suddenly quiet?

I had no idea this existed, and years ago I was inspired to make something based on the fap gauntlet threads I'd seen. I have folders of 30-40 pics that I've added a format to, indicating how I should fap with each hand, at what speed, and any additional rules (like tight grip, extra lube, flipping my grip). I always listen to a specific sound track when I do this and I set the slideshow to 20 seconds per pic. I debated turning them into video format but since I only made this stuff for myself, I never put the extra production time into it.

So I may give this a shot. My major difference would be no use of an onahole (only your two lubed hands), the beat would be slower paced, and I like using pics over animated scenes (though I may give it a shot). Would that even interest anyone?

so im new to faphero, just found this thread and thought it looked interesting, so i tried the one in the OP

is it supposed to be way too easy? honestly, the fap beat is just way too slow to ever be a challenge. to be honest, the hardest part of it was not losing my boner. the parts designed to go faster and fuck with you are the only things that kept me erect. at first i thought it was just because i didnt like the scenes they were showing, but then one of the rounds just happened to be from one of my favorite hentai vids, so that certainly not the problem. i came in the reward section, though, but thats to be expected considering its a flat out high rhythm with no break at all, not to mention the 40 agonizing minutes of struggling to keep it up beforehand.

ive been thinking about it since i had a chance to recooperate and i think the only problem is that like, my "normal" rhythm is slightly faster than faphero1's "normal" rhythm, if that makes sense. like, i dont think i need it to be harder, i think its just that what it considers a "normal" stroking beat needs to be amped up a bit, and then everything else could basically be the same

Honestly, I'd think that the base BPM would be a good bit higher if it weren't for the simple problem of friction and general strain on your arm without an onahole if you fap at 200+ BPM for 40 minutes. Wanking it that fast for that long eventually starts hurting both your dick and your hand if you do it blanko, which is what FHs are catered to, since that way everyone can play them.

Though I also would be curious to see a special "onahole only" one with significantly higher beat rate optimized for use with one.

yeah thats why im not suggesting a 40 minute long 200+bpm faphero. just imagine the original faphero with the same bpm except each round the base bpm goes up by about 20. so youll start out in the 120-130 range, the middle rounds will be in the 180 range, and then the last round or two will finally start breaking 200+.

not to mention you can accomplish a lot of, um, "gameplay" by having successive periods of high bpm, few second break, high bpm, few second break, repeat, etc. you can reduce fatigue this way if youre clever about it

i just thought it was really weird that the final round was all like "okay fuck this no more games youre gonna cum now" and then its still just the same rhythm as all the other rounds.

What makes a good song for these videos? I have a few songs with very prominent beats I thought would be good, but adding rhymtic 1-2-3-123 kind of patterns over prominent beats doesn't tend to work, and songs without obvious beats don't really 'sync up'.

Just got around to finally trying out all parts of this, got to say it felt like a sequal to FapHero by OP.
If I could suck your dick I would, this shit is amazing compared to others, including GU's.
I loved that there was a host talking to the player that would introduce the video and allow you to get a boner ready and anything you'll need for the session- like a onahole- before starting up the first round.
I thought that introducing the girls as stage material was genius.
The ending was nicely packaged up, reusing all the girls as a final effort to make the player lose was pretty fun.
The beats were pretty sinc.
The music was nice- nothing of a turnoff and had a good beat.
The beats themselves were actually rhythm and not just impossible 1/16th notes fucking all the time.
Having each stage end with audio of the hentai slowly mixed in felt great and made it even more enjoyable.

The ONLY problem I had was the absence of a bonus round, which really wasn't that big of a deal.

Overall I fucking loved it.
This is a successor to HapHero.
Please make more, you know what you're doing.

I try to match what is on-screen along with the beat bar.
I.E. if the girl is giving a blowjob and sucking on the head, focus on the head.
With the beat bar I go with a full stroke beat in match with the visual, whether it be an upward stroke on the beat hit, or a downward stroke.
As long as you get a set between each beat- like the waves of audio.

A ton of people play that way regardless, but the syncing not matching makes it a bit less enjoyable.

I made a factory reset on my PC and I thought that it wouldn't wipe my desktop apps/folder. So you see, the problem is that I made the backup location to the desktop.

I will get everything back what is lost someday. But for now I'll be very unactive until next summer.

Luckily that's something that happens only once: then suddenly paying a hard drive worth of money yearly for unlimited cloud storage on Amazon Cloud Drive doesn't seem such a bad idea. Food for thoughts, for those who didn't lost data yet.

Bastati: even after factory reset, it may be possible to recover -some- data before it gets overwritten on the hard drive. Try with Recuva. Even if the files seem corrupt, it may still be repaired.

It's obivous he is shitting. Unless the factory reset option performs a full format on the whole HDD. The only way to make sure that file are not recoverable is to overwrite the actual sectors with zeros or something (or fucking up the HDD physically). Deleting the files removes them only from MFT and quick format option does the same thing.

Donations aside, most people actually get bored halfway and make a random excuse (and it was data loss like two times already) and disappear. If you actually lost data then (as you should know by now) RTFM before doing factory reset and good luck with recovering. If you have been using the same HDD then as >>4125521 said there's probably little to recover.
