i'm not saying copyright infringement isn't real. i'm just saying it's definitely not stealing - far from it. especially when it comes to memes from 4chan there are no actual damages. anonymous poster #546 literally did it for the lulz and not for commercial gain. he's not losing out on anything. someone taking the creation and marketing it is a win-win situation. if someone is copying content from a creator who lives off of their content - yeah, fuck that, they're causing actual harm and making the creator lose out on revenue. but that's not the case here.

just to make things clear - OP has the rights to all the clips he posted, right? right? the right of the original filmer, the right of the editor, the right to music... because, what's the difference, between taking money shots off of commerical platforms like YouTube and uploading them to 4chan where the original creators get no revenue and taking money shots off of 4chan and uploading them to a different platform where creators also get nothing? that would be like OP complaining about theft while being a master thief himself...

My most profitable meme was actually a really shitty one that I dont even think came from 4chan. It was those shitty thuglife videos, those made me about 500 euros in a week for less than 15 minutes of work.

Those videos also have a much higher Rate per click on youtube for some reason.

I put them on YouTube and at first I had a couple of small sites and subreddits I posted them on (Small is good because if you are good at it it wont look like you're advertising)

Now i've gotten a small subscriber base (just over 5k) and now I usually dont have to post it anywhere myself because they'll share it.
