The issue isn't that these threads exist, but that this board is mostly populated by idiots who don't understand the concept of generals.
People that don't know how to source, people that post threads that belong on /r/, people that don't know how to use the search function, people that create multiple threads about the same thing despite other threads being up and below the autosage level.

Back in my day repeat threads would be deleted and content would generally be confined to the ONE thread made for said content.

Now mods don't seem to give a shit. And this goes for a lot of different thread types.

For example, we don't need 5 different anal threads, please keep it to one.
Still, mods just don't care. Or even deliberately allow it if they enjoy the content.
