How do I break into the graphic design field at a younger age? I'm 18 but I'm trying to get the ball rolling

maybe learn web development along, because you actually have to be exceptional in some way (not necessarily in terms of effort and difficulty, just doing something different well) and have an intuition to do exactly the right thing in the right time without much of a thought to really succeed in graphic design but everyone needs web developer monkeys, especially backend ones

i'm not saying you shouldn't practice visual design, it can go hand in hand well with development work and is essential for frontend development, but dev alone means you have a solid way to put bread on the table
