Hello /gd/, I started doing some minimalist-vector art like two days ago, and want to know what you think?
(Here's my DeviantArt, if interested) http://antidashlol.deviantart.com/
Doesn't look bad, only impressive to people that have never worked with illustrator tho
Try to sell it as clipart maybe

>want to know what you think
I think it's an uninspired, reddit-tier design that has been made a billion times before and it's badly executed.
>I started... like two days ago
Well that explains a lot.
Your main problem here is alignment, makes the whole thing inconsistent

try using illustrator's guides to help you place things properly. You can also put a picture of a real joystick in the background to have as reference of where each thing should be.
Also, don't get lazy, that thing is missing lots of purple.
Good luck OP, we will all say your stuff is shit until you eventually stop making shit.

And what do you think about this one? It was the first I made.

You started two days ago, you should know what we think already senpai
>minimalist
Minimalism attempts to convey information without diluting it with extra effects
You don't have minimalism, but just have the appearance of low effort, due to lack of knowledge maybe?
Try to make something other then vector art first, its a bit harder then other things for beginners

Just the fact that it is not a flat joystick makes it better.
I like how the keyboard looks (even though the keys aren't accurate).
and the desk layout makes no sense, there's no place for legs.
You keep having trouble with aligning stuff (to a lesser extent though)

guides are your friend, use them

Did you make this in paint?
Thank you for the feedback, everyone. I will improve my methods and watch guides, since everything I did I kinda did it from things that I watched in speedarts. So, stay tuned! I'll be back with better results next time.
