This is what I always wonder when looking at older graphic design work. I guess all the fundamental tools were still there. Probably made it easier without all the new clutter/filters/effects etc.

First there was no software and it was all done by hand, then came Quantel Paintbox and after that Adobe Photoshop.

Corel draw was quite popular.
