If it is too tight or unevenly tightened it can flex the socket causing poor contact with the pins.

Why are you torquing it down so hard your board flexes? It just needs to make contact and not move.

You can switch both the fans to pull, it won't make any difference in temperature.

When I installed my AIO I overtightend it with a screwdriver and wrecked the plastic backplate. Always hand tighten and NEVER watch shitty LTT like I did.

The d15 in pull config has some kind of high pitched whine to it. It's annoying.
