It looks ok, even 1080p looks ok enough.
I have two of the 27 inch variant of that monitor, it's quite good. Just bought a 1080 ti to complement them.

Are you trying to communicate?
>>62455998
i dont know maybe the 27 inch will be more in the cards by the time i go to make the purchase once taxes come in god jnows what happens to prices by then but we are not talking about 720p on a 1070p here where it just looks gross?
>>62455926
you should care about ips/tn. ips is way better.
>>62456201
i mean it apparently is ips but i just dont see why i should care
>>62456201
It is IPS.

it will look better at 1080p as that is exactly half scale. Any display scaling may introduce some input lag though
I have pb287q and 1440p looks fine
scale ppi 4K FHD 1440p

I have the 27" version of that Dell monitor and play games on it with an ASUS GTX 1070.
If I can play a game at 4K then I will but honestly 1440p looks absolutely fine unless I get up really close to it. The pixel density of 4K in a 27" display really helps with that, so I imagine 24" would be even better.
Text-heavy games like a city-builder or 4X might have text looking a bit blurry but that's it.
I mostly play at 1440p then use Nvidia control panel to add some extra AA on top of whatever the game has built-in.
Just run them at 2160p
And IPS is a huge improvement over TN

this. I play witcher 1080p on 27inc 4k lg...
looks better than on my old 1080p IPS monitor from dell

cheap and great

Screenlets, when will they learn?
>>62455926
it's never going to look as good as native resolution if you want a real answer, but "good enough" is subjective
all games look shit below 100fps
wish there was actually a choice, IPS panels above 100hz are almost non-existant
