I'm planning on buying a Nintendo 3DS. Apparently they come with an SD card slot. Is there any way to put game image files onto that SD card and load those on the 3DS so that I don't have to buy games?
I'm used to stealing games that cost more than $5 on steam so I don't want to pay $30+ for new games.

Make sure you have enough space on your SD card though. I managed with a 4 GB one for a while, but it was only really enough to play one or two games. I got a 64 GB one recently, and it works, but it needs to be formatted as FAT32 instead of exFAT which was a pain on Windows.

You can buy a flash card for around $40 and put all the roms on it you want, 3ds also does snes emulation well.
