300r. At the time I quite liked it but now days its flaws shine. I think at the time (2013) I was tossing up between it and the define r3(4 or 2?). I wish I'd gone with the define because the 300r has too many limitations like having 4 drive bays Max and no 2.5 bays.

I think it comes down to dust filters. A lot of the really expensive aluminum cases either don't have them or have some cheap screw-on solution that you need to disassemble your case to get to. Phanteks is okay in this regard, but then they nake it too big and add windows
>massive

>>62449147
A panel is fine, but you need openings, NZXT is retard tier.
>>62439405
why do "gayming rigs" always look like autistic spaceships?
What is the point of cases with transparent plastic windows? I think the only people who like tacky cases and LEDs are those who think they're smart because of building a computer for the first time.

It's a nice case to run 3x1060 mining crypto 24/7. Seven fans provide more than adequate airflow.
Once I am done with mining, which wouldn't be worth it if my electricity wasn't included in the monthly rent, I'll probably do a threadripper build for a NN server.
Surprised not to have seen this posted yet.
+ Great price
+ Window is optional
+ 2 x USB3 front
≈ 6/10 cable management
≈ No PSU basement meme
≈ Top fans slots could be 140mm but aren't
- Bad front airflow
>>62449872

current vs what im moving to
So does anyone actually care about performance ? We need a case line that is solely about performance while not totally failing in other areas like these "boutique" brands do with their over or under designed bullshit. At least try new shit like they used to now it's all the same marketing bullshit following "trends" on youtube since those faggots are always willing to shill the latest re branded mediocrity.
>>62450078
why the fuck would a case boost performance? are you retarded?
cases are purely aesthetic
use a milk crate if you have autism

>>62450528
do you not see the intake on the right side, mongoloid?
>>62450506

>>62449872
>100R
Same here.
>>62450543
That's passive cooling for the drives, dumbass
You'll have to rip the entire drive bay out and drill new holes if you want to install ventilation there
Also it still wouldn't do anything useful, since a direct in and out cooling is way more useful than just sticking fans everywhere
Hypothetically, what would be a cute/girly case to use if you're building a pc for a grill?

>>62452838
I dislike that it and all the cube cases like it have the PSU at the bottom.
I just want to use the space in side for a massive rad setup and would rather if it was all below or adjacent to the PSU rather than directly over it.
Call me paranoid, but putting a giant water source above the primary electrical board for your ~500-1000w device is probably not the greatest engineering decision.
>>62452879
Do leaks in a water cooling loop always/usually occur in the radiator or reservoir? Seems like having any portion of the water system above an electrical system would be risky.
But then I just stay the hell away from water cooling altogether. Never needed it.
>>62452838
Looks like it should have a handle. It's small so you can take it around to LAN parties, right?
>>62441313
Wow, I'm still using my K62! I miss Lancool.
>>62453216
I don't find my case that handy. I'd use pic related for LAN parties. Anyway, yes.
>>62452572
Dual chamber, seperates the PSU 5.25" bays, and 2.5" bays into a seperate chamber to give all the airflow to the stuff that actually produces heat. The power supply has it's own dedicated side vent to bring cool air in from. Admittedly, the secondary chamber is very poorly utilized and ends up with a huge void that just get's used to not worry about cable management. Tons of modding potential, though.
Not my picture, but a mod I was considering doing to get more hard drives before stumbling across a nice external raid array.
>>62452838
I like the 240 and think they make a much better use of the space it occupies. But I don't like that you can't get a decent air cooler into it if you wanted to.
>>62452879
>>62453188
You're more likely to get a leak at a fitting / in a hose than the rad itself. A leak could also wick up a hose to an undesirable location. If anything, having the PSU isolated would improve your odds of not having some horrible end result.
>>62453216
It's not as small as it appears, but definitely a hell of a lot easier to transport than the 540.
Best case I've ever had the pleasure to work with.
>>62453357

>>62449833
Sure, because putting a 400+ hp engine in a car that'll never see a road without a 70mph limit on it is not tuning, right? People add performance to their cars for no fucking reason, just as people bought i7-s for no fucking reason a couple years ago for gayming.
