Are using smartphones, or phones in general slavery, /g/?
I use mine for nothing but using things that rely on nothing except Wi-Fi. It is SMS and call capable, but I barely call or send text messages to anyone, because I felt like there was nothing in the world that would pressure me into using it. My job is slowly and gradually migrating to a digital platform, and now coworkers and friends are trying to force me to use SMS to "stay in touch", and I swear if I even lifted my finger one tiny bit to resist, they will call me crazy because I'm not catching up with the current world and evolving to keep up with the way that things are becoming.
My only excuses are that humans have gotten away without such whimsy tech in the past and avoiding the "muh millenials memes twitter bernie sanders socialism pokemon go" stereotype. Both are not effective at all to them, they keep saying that I'm making crazy excuses to stay within my personal bubble.
Did I really happened to catch a whiff about Stallman's luddite cult which led me to go down this path? If so, I blame all of you fucks.

You pretty much did. Blame yourself for taking this board seriously in the first place.
