Depends on country but i got a 1440p 24" Dell for £110 from a Dell reseller on ebay. It was like new with no defects.

I found a defective pixel on my 4K screen after 1.5 years. But you don't notice it. I think every, especially higher DPI monitors have one to a few defective ones.
