4k IPS or neck yourself

Can the 4K meme fucking die already?
High-DPI support is fucking trash on Windows.

WQHD 27'' or 1080p 24'' screen

>1080p

I was thinking about Benq GW2470H or GW2406Z What is the difference between VA or IPS panel which one is better for playing games and general use?
>>62383276
>16:9 is for children
thats why you get 3 of them
A 1440p 60hz IPS monitor is the way to go
>>62382822
Depends on country but i got a 1440p 24" Dell for £110 from a Dell reseller on ebay. It was like new with no defects.

>16:9 is for children
anon you're ok, right?
>be poor
>buy a monitor
>one dead pixel
>fast forward 5 years and the death of the monitor
>buy another one
>it has a stuck red pixel

The u2515h is $350 though
Thoroughly outside OP's budget
>>62383642
But surely warranty
>>62383642
that is extremely unlucky bro.
I've bought 5 monitors, and unboxed 100s in my job and I've only seen 3 monitors with a stuck pixel.
I...I'm sorry anon.
>>62383036
works fine on 8.1/10, it's only shit on 7
>>62384034
I tried but waranty was like at least 5 pixels or some bullshit like that.
>>62384198
That imformation damaged my mood
>>62383218
1080p is fine, as long as you buy a used IPS237 or something for below 60 €. Paying over 100 for 1080p is retarded.
>>62382822
What are you going to do with this monitor?
>>62384047
I found a defective pixel on my 4K screen after 1.5 years. But you don't notice it. I think every, especially higher DPI monitors have one to a few defective ones.
>>62384087
This. I'm a 4K user since early 2015, the support was awful in the beginning, but everything except Origin supports it now.
>>62386816
Play games and all general things what you usually do with computers.
