I'm on Linux Mint and I need to make a bootable win7 usb.
I have tried everything, but it refuses to boot on my Thinkpad x260.
What do I do? I have done the whole Gparted, set flag to boot, tried both ntfs and fat32, all the shitty fucking tools for installing distros (winusb, etc).
Nothing works
I'm about ready to just fucking buy the software at this point.
Does the drive show up as a boot option in BIOS?

No, nothing happens. Under Bios it lists the USB drive as existing, but it won't boot into it, no signs of life.

you have to go back to /pol/

no thanks

See if you can boot a linux distro off it. Then you can at least rule out the stick or your computer.
I've always had the same problem with linux. Just give up and ask a friend, this shit OS isn't worth it.

Good idea, thanks.

used my gfs computer (same as mine, but running win 10) to make one and it didn't work.
I am thinking it has something to do with my iso (piratebay) or my stick.
I'll report back
