There are more Android users than there are iPhone users, but they're all pajeet street shitters. All the iPhone users actually shell out their hard earned cash for Apple's ridiculous prices, and are therefore more inclined to pay for apps. Also, Apple's done a very good job of stopping app piracy, while on Android, all you need to do is Google for the .apk...

This is interesting. According to this article the average iPhone app makes 4x as much as Android avg. I wonder how much of that could be attributed to how easy it is to release apps on Android. Just about anyone can pay the $20 and get their app on Google play forever, but the iPhone app store has a larger initial investment with a yearly fee according to OP. No one is going to pay the fee unless they make at least enough profit to cover it, thus refining the app market and allowing only those with substantial revenue to exist.

Still, if you develop an app that will earn a profit, it's definitely worth it to release on both platforms to maximize profit.
